Wave Dancer
Wave Dancer is a watercolor of a mermaid surfing waves the wind blowing in her hair. When creating a female fantasy character I try to portray freedom and strength. I use the freeflowing watercolor medium because it has a life of its own. I use this painting technique because I enjoy its challenges and liveliness. I often start very free letting the paint do what it will and then and details.
